Granville C. Coggs, M.D., F.A.C.R.                 Employment Profile

For a period of approximately 31 years, from the completion of my radiology residency in 1958 until my retirement as a Professor of Radiology at The University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio, in September, 1989, I worked full time as a general diagnostic radiologist in teaching hospitals.  Since 1972 I have been particularly interested in the radiological diagnosis of breast cancer.  A summary of this period of my professional experience follows:

      LOCUM TENENS RADIOLOGICAL EXPERIENCE

From the time that I retired in September, 1989, until mid-1990, I worked at home as a “House Husband”.  I decided, however, in the mid-1990, to “re-tread” as a general diagnostic radiologist.  Since mid-1990 until the present time, I have worked on a temporary basis as a Locum Tenen Radiologist, generally in hospitals or clinics in the smaller towns of Texas and Southern California.  The time periods have varied from a few consecutive days to a few consecutive months.  I have organized the summary of this Locum Tenen experience on a chronological basis of first time temporary employment at the Locum site.  I have served at two-three different times at a particular locum site.  The summary outline will include:

The time of first employment, The Geographic location, The name of the particular clinical entity, and the principal radiologist responsible for my employment.
